The A Level in Health and Social Care is only available to students taking the WJEC Diploma in Health and Social Care. The WJEC Diploma is a double subject, and by combining it with the A Level makes it a triple subject.
This subject cannot be taken as a single subject.
5 GCSEs A* – C (a grade C in GCSE English Language is desirable but not essential) alternatively, a BTEC level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care at merit or above.
A DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is a compulsory element to any Health and Social Care course which involves vocational practice. Students are expected to pay the full cost (£44 approximately), and additional costs may be incurred if sufficient evidence cannot be provided (passport/driving licence etc.).
