This Music Technology: Production course is for serious music technologists. St David’s has industry-standard equipment including a fully equipped recording studioprofessional analogue mixing console and Apple Mac suite with Logic Pro and Ableton Live. The course covers creating a music product, music sequencing, sound recording techniques, sounds for multimedia and much more. The course is aimed at musicians, aspiring producers, and sound engineers who wish to be involved in the technology of music. It is for students who want to record, edit and compose using a variety of modern techniques.


What Next?

This course can lead to progression into Higher Education or a career in music programming, music composition, studio engineering and production. This can lead to employment in: studio production, sound design, music for media, record companies, song writing, or composing.


Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs A* – C. Learners will be considered for entry on to the course on experience as well as qualifications.
